Camp work is demanding and requires long hours, but the experience is incredibly rewarding. Staff members leave Camp Soaring Eagle having learned interpersonal skills and the value of teamwork, made long-lasting friendships, discovered new talents and contributed to bringing joy and fun back into the lives of these seriously ill children.
Camp personnel are carefully selected according to criteria of prior training, understanding, enthusiasm and knowledge, and receive intensive training in preparation for the Camp sessions.
Paid summer positions include:
- Cabin counselors take care of the daily needs of 8-10 campers.
