Camper Weekends are held at the Jack Pot Ranch in Camp Verde, an 80 acre facility designed specifically for children to be able to have more fun than imaginable. The campers enjoy horseback riding, fishing, paddle boats, archery, arts and crafts, music and more all under the close monitoring of our 24 hour medical staff. Each weekend is illness specific so campers have the opportunity to make friends with other children just like themselves.
Family Retreats are held at the Briar Patch Inn in Sedona. Families who are struggling with childhood illness are able to take a break from their daily struggles and enjoy quality family time in a magnificent setting while having the reassurance of our medical staff on-site. The Family Retreats provide an important forum where families can share their challenges and successes with others in similar situations. Activities at the Family Retreats include arts and crafts, archery, field games, trips to area attractions and a variety of special entertainers and guests.
Flying with Camp Soaring Eagle Travel Programs give our campers the opportunity to truly spread their wings as they travel with our staff and medical volunteers to other medically based camping programs across the country. The Flying with Camp Soaring Eagle Programs not only build the camper's confidence and introduces them to new parts of the country they also get to meet kids like themselves from around the world who face the same challenges they do.
